Fees and Refunds

2010 Course Fees (Effective Fall 2010): 

 

For courses that do not require transcript analysis $685.00

Courses that do not require transcript analysis include the following:

 

  • ABQ Primary
  • ABQ Junior
  • One Session AQ
  • Special Education
  • Three Session AQ (excluding French as a Second Language Part 1)

For courses that require transcript analysis $735.00

Courses that require transcript analysis include the following:

 

  • ABQ Intermediate
  • ABQ Senior
  • French as a Second Language Part 1
  • ABQ Technological Education
  • Honour Specialist
  • Principals' Qualification Program

On-site ABQ Technological Education Courses require a materials fee in addition to tuition costs.

Please note, Queen's does not charge a non-refundable deposit.

Fees must be paid in full by the registration deadline.

Payment Methods

 

  • Credit card (VISA or Mastercard).
  • Personal cheque (post-dated cheques not accepted), bank draft, or money order payable to Queen's University.
  • Telephone or internet bank transfer.  (Available only to applicants who already have a Queen's student number.)
  • Sponsorship.  Please submit your original notice of sponsorship (i.e., by a corporation, bona fide foundation, government agency, etc.) with your registration form.

Registration forms submitted by fax must have fees paid by credit card or telephone or internet bank transfer.


General Refund Policy

 

Candidates who wish to withdraw from a course must notify the Office of Continuing Teacher Education in writing.  Informing an instructor of your intention to withdraw is not deemed to be an official withdrawal.  Please send an email to crschng@queensu.ca.  Include your name, course code, and section.

Refunds are calculated based on the date that notification is received by the Office of Continuing Teacher Education. Please refer to the appropriate refund schedule, below.

Administration Fee

 

Queen's University will assess a $20.00 fee when a cheque is returned for any reason, including:

  • Non-sufficient funds.
  • Stop-payment.
  • Cannot trace.
  • Face and figures do not agree.
  • Signature irregular.
